Greenwich/Wilton Kenpo Karate

OUR SCHOOLS

Locations in Greenwich and Wilton Connecticut.

 BRIEF HISTORY:

Greenwich Kenpo Karate was started by Mr. Kirby Marshall in February of 1982.

Mr. Marshall, a second degree Black Belt at the time, had moved to Connecticut from Southern California for a career opportunity and was looking for a place to train. Unfortunately there was no Kenpo in this area so in his typical fashion he decided to open his own school.

Four of the original students form that very first class were awarded their Black Belts by Grand master Ed Parker about four years latter.

In approximately 1990 Jeff Kahn, one of those original Black Belts, took over the school when Mr. Marshall left to persue other goals.

CURRENTLY:

Greenwich and Wilton Kenpo Karate offer a complete martial arts program for the beginner and advanced student, concentrating on self-defense and physical conditioning for men and woman.

Learn self-discipline, self-confidence and build self-esteem through the unification of the mind, body and spirit. There are female and male black belts helping Mr. Kahn teach classes, several of who received their Black Belts from Mr. Ed Parker.

Private lessons and small group classes are available at both locations.

We also teach a wide verity of “short course” street ready self-defense classes.
